by David Fujino

The Toronto Chapter is ringing in the New Year, 2014, with a new Board of Directors.

We have received the baton from the interim President Lindsay Tsuji who has served the Chapter well through her programs for youth and the yonsei generation. Thank you, Lindsay.

The following 2014 Directors have roots in the Toronto Nikkei community and altogether they possess considerable experience and expertise in the arts, human rights, and social services.

The Chapter’s 2014 programming — for example, human rights workshops, book launches and talks, and arts events — will largely reflect both the career experience and community concerns of these Directors.

President – David Fujino
Vice-President – Bruce Tatemichi
Treasurer – Randy Sakauye
Secretary – Terez Hyodo
Director – Kim Uyede Kai
Director – Ron Shimizu
Director – Yosh Inouye
Director – Bill Kobayashi
Director – Ken Galloway
Director – Toke Suyama
Director – Bob Tanaka

While carrying on NAJC principles of human rights, the Chapter’s efforts will also be spent on producing events in the arts and social services that are of benefit to the community.

Respectfully yours,
David Fujino
